BKB Bosveld is the first sponsor to give its official support to HuntEx2011. BKB is a national agricultural organisation that is well-known for its expertise and it is a household name in the wool and mohair industry. BKB's expertise goes far beyond the fibre industry and the company is well-known for its experience and knowledge of the game and property auction business.

On Friday, 15 April 2011 BKB will hold a game auction in the Gallagher Auditorium. The game will be on a farm in the Vaalwater district, but videos and photographs will allow potential buyers to bid on big game and rare species on offer.

On Saturday, 16 April 2011, a similar auction of hunting packages will be held for hunters to bid on their choice of available hunting opportunities.

BKB is very excited to be associated with HuntEx2011 and regards it as an ideal opportunity to introduce and establish its name to a wider audience.

BKB was established in 1975 from the amalgamation of three farmer organisations, but transformed tne enterprise into a fully fledged company with shareholders in 1998. With an annual turnover of R6 000 million BKB handles the marketing of agricultural products, such as grain, wool, mohair and livestock, as well as properties. It also provides agricultural requisites and related technical services to the agricultural industry.

More information about the game and hunting package auctions will appear in future editions of Pot-Shot. Manufacturers and traders who want to take part in the biggest hunting exhibition ever held in South Africa can contact Adriaan Woudstra at adriaan@huntex or phone him on 012 803 5986, send a fax to 086 513 1103 or visit www.huntex.net for more information.
