In the United States a new device - the Kruncher - was developed to attract deer. The Kruncher imitates the sound of other deer feeding which creates a tranquil atmosphere.

The Kruncher creates a carbon copy sound of a buck crunching on acorns to lure in a curious buck and it can also calm a fidgety whitetail that's approaching a hunter's treestand or ground blind.

"For years, I've used natural sounds to calm bucks that seem paranoid," says North American Hunter whitetail columnist Mark Kayser.
