Game Scotch fillet with coriander

The smell of coriander is associated with the curing of meat. Especially the making of bitlong and dry wors. Scorching coriander in a pan and then in grinding in a mortar makes the whole house smell afterwards. It then formally announces winter because eating biltong is not in the far distant. Scorched coriander is also a nice spice for game but you should not be ashamed to use the coriander.

Venerable Venison Stew never Disappoints

Meteorologists allege that we are experiencing the hottest winter in six decades this year. Personally, after the past week or so, I believe somebody with a lot of influence in these matters must have heard them, because it has become so cold since then, and economic prospects have sagged so low, that even lawyers have been caught with their hands in their own pockets.

Just the other day I wrote about a waterblommetjie recipe and an upset reader challenged me to find waterblommetjies in the northern part of the country. Well, I"ve got good news. There is a certain general dealer that claims to get "better and better"� that had fresh waterblommetjies on his shelf this week.
